If you use Google to sign in, you agree that we may collect certain account information as governed by our Privacy Policy and Google’s API Services User Data Policy.

You are solely responsible for the Content you upload or share through the App. FYINotes.com does not claim ownership of the Content you submit or make available through the App, but by submitting Content, you grant FYINotes.com a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, distribute, reproduce, modify, adapt, publicly perform, publicly display, or remove the Content in connection with the App's operation and promotion.

5. Prohibited Activities
When using the App, you agree not to:

13. Inactive Accounts/Users & additional terms

• Inactive Accounts Beyond a Specific Period: Define a timeframe (e.g., 12 months) after which accounts and associated data may be deleted if users remain inactive, with a prior reminder notification (e.g., 30 days before deletion).
• Incomplete or Unverified Accounts: Data from accounts that were created but not verified or completed (such as unfinished sign-ups) may be deleted after a certain period (e.g., 30 days) to reduce data storage needs.
• Duplicate or Redundant Data: If the platform identifies duplicate data (e.g., from sync errors), these could be deleted automatically or after notifying the user.
• Data Subject to Compliance Requirements: Certain data may need to be retained or deleted sooner based on data protection laws (like GDPR or CCPA). This often includes user requests for data deletion or data modifications, which must be handled within specific timeframes.
• Violation of Terms: If a user’s content violates your terms of service (e.g., abusive or inappropriate content), you may choose to delete such data or even the account without prior notice.
• Opt-Out Users: If a user decides to opt out of cloud storage or specific features, their data associated with those features may be deleted after a defined period.
• Security-Related Deletion: Data linked to suspicious or unauthorized activity might be subject to immediate deletion to protect the platform and other users.
